From the Muay Thai Guy, aka Sean Fagan, instructor for this Muay Thai retreat:
My goal for this Muay Thai retreat is to motivate and inspire you to live a healthy, active, and purposeful life. I know how the grind of day-to-day life can be a struggle, but my aim is to show you how to turn that struggle into an exciting journey of personal growth and spiritual insight.
By helping you develop the confidence and discipline that goes along with training Muay Thai on a routine basis, I know that you will have a fresh outlook on life once you return home after the retreat. Not only that, but I’m confident that the supportive people, positive vibes, and beautiful environment of the retreat will all be major factors in helping you transform your life into an invigorating journey.
Throughout this retreat you will learn my favorite Muay Thai techniques, develop a more aware and focused mind through yoga and meditation, and explore the gorgeous scenery that you will be surrounded by. You will also eat delicious, healthy meals, lounge out by the Infinity Pool, go for hikes through the jungles to pristine waterfalls, and take part in group discussions about training and life.
You will come out of this retreat rejuvenated, energized, and motivated to continue living an active lifestyle. You will be even more driven to continue your Muay Thai training and to pursue your passions regardless of what they are. You will welcome the challenge of the day-to-day grind and turn it into an exciting adventure where you will work hard, persist, and overcome any roadblocks in your way.
This retreat will be a life-changing experience and an important stepping stone to living a more fulfilling life!

Sparring is a BIG part to improve as a Muay Thai fighter. That being said, a lot of people go into a sparring session with the wrong mindset and often don’t benefit from it as much as they could be.
Make sure you don’t just go through the motions of sparring! Check out these Thai boxing sparring tips to evolve your game, improve your timing and kick ass in the ring!
Your mind can play some fucked up games on you. Being able to control your thoughts and emotions is a critical part of becoming a successful Muay Thai fighter. Learning how to meditate, visualize and calm your mind on queue will be a major help when you feel anxiety building in the back of your mind.
