Luktupfah was originally established in 1977 by air force officer (Group Captian Surasak Mondaeng), who was Vice president of the professional boxing association of Thailand and also Vice president of the world professional muay thai federation.
The gym produced many champions such as, Kongnapha Luktupfah, Jowvaha Luktupfah, Fahpikart Luktupfah (Rajdamnern 130lb Champion).
Since then, the gym has been taken over by many hands and now the legacy is being carried on by Grand Master Chinawut Sirisompan, President of WMO, President World Muay-boran federation and Chairman of Kru-Muaythai association.
This Muay Thai gym was formerly launched in 1977 by Group Captian Surasak Mondaeng, an air force officer. Whether you are a professional or beginner fighter, this is the right place for you, if you want to train in the sport and art of Muay Chaiya, Muay boran, Krabi krabong and Muay Thai. There are almost 15 rooms on site available for rent in a package deal with the training. These rooms are attractive, decent and have air conditioning and a private washroom. However, you can also look for a room nearby and just be traveling to the gym for training, if you are on a tight budget and need to save some money.
Two training sessions per day are available at Luktupfah Muay Thai. The morning sessions concentrates more on fitness and training, including knees and front kicks on bags, long run and some other strength and conditioning training. The afternoon session comprises of either skipping or a shorter run, followed by clinching, sparring, pad work and bag work.
As part of the achievements of this gym and what makes them one of the best Muay Thai Gyms in Bangkok near the BTS is of the fact that the gym has produced many champions since it was established.
