Kungfu Family

Kungfu Family, initiated in 2002 by Master Li Quan, is the only home in Sichuan Province for all martial artists, for foreigners and chineses, for all ages and all experiences, everybody interested in learning authentic traditional Chinese Kungfu. The school is based in Chengdu (Sichuan Province in southwestern China) and is headed by Master Li Quan. His teaching principle is to pass on traditional Chinese Kungfu of Emei Shan in its true form to all who are willing and dedicated to learn.

 

Kungfu Family school is unique: Traditional training methods are employed to bring students closer to the roots of Kungfu. Training programs are tailored specifically to suit your individual training goals

Classes are conducted in very small groups to ensure a productive learning environment and rapid skills development

 

We pay much attention to increase Gongli  功力 (power/hardness/speed). Without Gongli, any of the techniques that you will learn would be good-looking but ineffective. Internal exercises, such as Qigong 气功 , are also an integral part of our training programs and will strengthen your breathing as well as your body and mind. Only by combining inner and outer powers together, human can achieve the highest levels of Kungfu.

For beginners and advanced people. One month-long intensive Training Camps are scheduled every year starting on the 1st of April, June, August and October. For these fixed date all-inclusive camps there is a special fee of 5,300 RMB (about 850 USD) for the entire month (including training, accommodation, food). Class sizes for the Training Camps are limited to 10 students per class. In addition to the 5 hours training per day with the Master, our all-inclusive Training Camps cover:
