Jog In Place - A Warm-Up Exercise for Martial Arts Students

This page provides details for a warm-up exercise known as Jog In Place. This plyometric warm-up exercise is used by martial arts students in order to warm up their legs and get their heart beating faster prior to starting their regular martial arts class. For a tougher variation of jogging in place, try the exercise known as High Knees.

All warm-up exercises should be supervised by a trained instructor in order to prevent injuries and to ensure the proper technique is utilized.
