Eagle Claw Kung Fu is a Chinese martial arts known for its gripping techniques, strikes, joint locks, takedowns and pressure point attacks. This style of Kung Fu is also called Faan Tzi Ying Jow Pai, Fann Tzi Ying Jow Pai, Ying Zhao Pai, etc. According to FightingArts.com, "Eagle Claw's specialty is developing the hand grip and finger pressure to grasp, trap, seize and manipulate opponents' limbs, joints, pressure points, veins and other targets".

Eagle Claw Kung Fu is famous for techniques such as the Eagle Claw which can be used to strike or grasp an opponent. Eagle Claw Kung Fu is also known for the system called 108 Chin Na Techniques. This is a series of 108 different techniques taught to students that focuses on locks, strikes, pressure point attacks and how to counter these attacks.

According to the Lily Lau Eagle Claw Kung Fu Federation, Eagle Claw Kung Fu techniques are comprised of elements such as "Jau" (grab), "Da" (strike) , "Kum" (catch), "Na" (hold), "Fan Gun" (separate the tendons), "Cho Gwat" (dislocating the joints), "Dim Yuet" (strike precisely the pressure points), "Baai Hei" (stop the breathing) , "Sim Gin" (fast changing stances), and "Tun Noh" (jump and take away).
