Dan Bong - Hapkido Martial Arts Weapon

The Dan Bong is a short wooden baton-like martial arts weapon used in Hapkido and Combat Hapkido. Other wooden Hapkido weapons include the Jang Bong and Jung Bong. This self-defense tool is used for striking, joint locks, etc. Since a Dan Bong is generally around 12 inches long, it is less threatening to carry than a bat, staff, etc.
