Learn about Taekwondo America Taekwondo America is a martial arts association based in the United States. According to their website, "Taekwondo America (TA) is a national organization with numerous successful schools across the United States. All TA schools adhere to the same guidelines and procedures… Taekwondo America schools compete exclusively in tournaments sponsored by the national organization. TA sponsors several regional and national tournaments throughout the year and invites all enrolled students to participate in these events." TA is focused on Taekwondo, a Korean martial arts. While teaching techniques similar to those taught by larger Taekwondo organizations such as the World Taekwondo Federation and International Taekwondo Federation, TA uses different forms. For videos of the Taekwondo America forms, please visit the main Taekwondo America Forms section. However, the best way to learn/practice of forms is to learn them at your studios. Currently, Taekwondo America has schools only in the United Stares. Schools are located in a number of states (with significant numbers in states such as North Carolina and Texas). References
