List of Shudokan Karate Katas with Videos This page will help you to learn the basic katas for Shudokan Karate. However, if you have any questions about a particular kata movement, please check with your instructor because kata instructions and the order of katas can vary by school and organization. Shudokan is known for its unique katas as well as Shudokan katas that have originated from other sources such as Goju-Ryu katas and Kung Fu forms (taolu). According to Atlanta's Traditional Okinawan Karate-do Dojo, the kata that are unique to Shudokan are "characterized by large, circular motions with an emphasis on covering". For the katas of other Karate styles (i.e. Shotokan katas), please visit the main Katas & Forms or Karate sections. Section supported by Karate books Main Katas
