Shorin-Ryu Passai Dai (Tawada Passai) Bunkai

This page shows a series of applications for the Shorin-Ryu kata, Passai Dai—specifically, the version of Passai Dai handed down from the Tawada family to Chibana Chosin. Small variations exist in how Passai Dai is performed, depending on the branch of Shorin-Ryu being practiced, but they are similar enough that the applications are transferable.

The video, below, demonstrates applications for most movements of the kata.
