Shin Kicking - English Martial Arts

Shin Kicking is an English martial arts or combat sport where the contestants kick each other in the shins until one withdraws from the contest. Contestants hold onto each other's collar and try to strike their opponent's shin with their foot, toes and/or shins.

Shin Kicking tournaments can draw thousands of spectators. The world championship of Shin Kicking is held at the Cotswold Olimpick Games in Gloucestershire, England. This ancient martial arts or "sport" is over 300 years old.

According to The Telegraph, "Sweeping manoeuvres, such as those used in judo, are strictly forbidden".
