Sai - Types

When getting a sai there are there are typically a couple variations.

• The Monouchi can be round or octagonal and vary in length which will affect the weight of the weapon
• The tip of the Monouchi can be rounded or a conical point
• The metal can be a chrome like or black finish
• One of the Yoku can be reversed (A Manji design sai)
• The handle can be wrapped in leather or rayskin
• The Tsukagashira can be rounded or squared
• There are even rubber sai for training practicing / sparring purposes (easily found on amazon)
