Nunchaku Jutsu Kata - Martial Arts Weapons Kata

Ensure when you have the nunchaku wrapped around your shoulder that the base of the top nunchaku is pointing down … Why? See the difference if you try to hit something with the base pointing to the ceiling as opposed to being angled down. Where the base points that will be where the nunchaku strikes. Do this kata imagining your opponent is your height.

Please note in some countries you will require a permit to use or even carry these, some requirements may include (not an exhaustive list):

• Being a Black Belt - in Karate or Weapons style.
• Running a dojo.
• Keeping the nunchaku locked up in a safe at the dojo.
• You my need to register with the relevant authority e.g. like you register a fire arm.
• If caught carrying nunchaku without a permit (in some states/countries) you can be fined.
