Instructions for a Front Leg Roundhouse Kick

A front leg roundhouse kick (or round kick) uses your forward foot to execute a roundhouse kick (versus using your rear leg). Front leg roundhouses are usually faster but less powerful than traditional rear leg roundhouse kicks. This technique is often used in sparring matches in order to score points. However, it is less effective in self-defense situations.
