Rebreakable Boards - Martial Arts Training Tool

Rebreakable boards and breaking techniques are used to demonstrate power and accuracy with kicks and strikes. They are often used during belt tests, breaking demonstrations, competitions, etc. Breaking techniques are used by many martial arts, especially Taekwondo.

When practicing breaking techniques, martial artists will break numerous boards. Since it is expensive to buy a huge number of wooden boards, many martial arts schools often buy reusable plastic rebreakable boards. These boards can "broken" by kicks (i.e. back kick) or hand strikes (i.e. knife hand strike) and then "repaired" by sliding the two plastic halves back together again.
