  • Start by curling your fingers down into a fist.
  • Then untuck your middle finger until the last knuckle of your middle finger is even with the second knuckle of your ring finger and pointer finger.
  • You can reinforce your extended knuckle with your thumb. Place the side of your thumb on the first knuckle of your middle finger.
  • You can strike forward with this fist against a target. Less effective against hard/bony targets.
  • You can also punch down on the back of the hand that is holding you in order to force an attacker to release you.
