Krabi-Krabong - Thailand Weapon-Based Martial Arts

Krabi-Krabong is a weapon-based martial arts from Thailand. The primary weapons used in this martial arts are the sword (krabi) and staff (krabong). In addition, Krabi-Krabong students practice unarmed combat techniques. Krabi-Krabong is well known for its use of the Daab Song Mue, a double sword combination.

According to Tiger Muay Thai, "When unarmed, Krabi Krabong employs a variety of strikes, locks, holds, kicks and throws as well. If weapons broke for example, battle would resume using these deadly unarmed techniques. Krabi Krabong is therefore not merely some weapons exhibition, but rather a complete battlefield art teaching principles of deadly combat".
