Jiu Jie Bian (or Chinese Chain Whip) - Chinese Martial Arts Weapon

Jiu Jie Bian (or Chinese Chain Whip) is a Chinese martial arts weapon. It consists of a chain of metal rods with a metal dart at the end.

A Chinese Chain Whip often has a flag attached to the dart in order to make spinning techniques more dramatic and easier to see. Since this ancient weapon utilizes exciting spinning techniques, you will often see this weapon used in old Kung Fu movies and Wushu demonstrations.
