How to Count to 100 for Filipino Martial Arts (i.e. Eskrima)

This page will help you to count in Filipino (Tagalog) for Eskrima, Kali & Arnis, Yaw Yan and other Philippines martial arts styles. We have listed the primary Filipino numbers used in Eskrima for training purposes such as stretching.

5 - Lima

7 - Pito
8 - Walo
9 - Siyam
10 - Sampu
11 - Labing-isa
12 - Labing-dalawa
13 - Labing-tatlo
14 - Labing-apat
15 - Labing-lima
16 - Labing-anim
17 - Labing-pito
18 - Labing-walo
19 - Labing-siyam
20 - Dalawampu
21 - Dalawamput-isa
22 - Dalawamput-dalawa
23 - Dalawamput-tatlo

For numbers not listed here (i.e. 31), add the word for the single digit number (i.e. 1 = Isa, 2 = Dalawa, etc.) behind the double digit number (i.e. 30 = Tatlumpu). Therefore, 31 would be Tatlumpu-isa, 32 would be Tatlumpu-dalawa and so on.
